On Saturday August 3, 2019 one of our new association members experienced a traumatic family event. Court Officer Renee Larkin and her family were at a friend's house when her husband Brenden Larkin suffered a tragic swimming pool accident which has left him paralyzed from the chest down. Brenden will have a 7 hour surgical procedure and remain in the hospital for weeks. Brenden and Renee have 3 daughters, Mia, Ella, and Ava. This tragedy is impacting the family in so many ways. Brenden has a long road ahead of him and Renee is left having to balance work and Brenden's health and recovery and raise 3 daughters.
The Suffolk County Court Officers Benevolent Association will be holding a 10-13 fundraiser on Friday, September 6th, 2019 at Momo's Too, located at 667 Montauk Highway, Bayport, NY 11705, from 6PM to 10PM. There will be a $20.00 entrance fee and food will be served. The association will also be holding a raffle with many prizes and all proceeds will be donated to the Larkin Family. The association will accept any donations for the raffle or cash donations for the family. Checks can be made out to Suffolk County Court Officer's Benevolent Association with Larkin 10-13 on the memo line.
Let's come together and help Officer Larkin, her husband and their children attempt to offset some of the financial burden that his treatment will incur.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
